💡改善血液透析技術的人體水合程度感測器

由於現有的血液透析技術會大量移除人體中的水分,監測病人身體的水合程度便格外重要。然而,目前並沒有可靠且簡便的量測方法。

麻省理工學院與麻省總醫院研究人員共同合作,利用核磁共振 (NMR) 原理開發出一款攜帶式感測器,可以大量節省成本、縮小儀器體積;相較於傳統的檢測方法,此技術將不受人體結構影響,能夠在臨床症狀出現前,精準量化病人水合程度。

該團隊目前正在進行臨床測試,可望降低美國每年在血液透析中,超過 400 億美元的醫療花費。此技術將應用於早期心臟衰竭預警,以及監控馬拉松運動員、老人等易脫水族群。
